Especially in the morning, when the sun is still flat, buildings with large glass surfaces already heat up. In contrast to external shading, an EEG protection film works at any angle of incidence of the sun and therefore relieves the remaining cooling load more effectively.
Low material usage
A EEG film is not a technical device with complicated mechanics, but a film with highly effective performance and integrated technical know-how.
Even if the development of the desired properties requires a high-tech laboratory and production is carried out on state-of-the-art machines, the effort is still significantly lower than with outdoor shading systems and air conditioning systems. The film must be removed without leaving any residue.
Low installation effort
A EEG film is much quicker and easier to install, neither piping systems nor electrical cables need to be laid or even holes drilled in the facade.

Heat protection films from EEG allow 20 - 70% of sunlight to pass through, single glazing 85%, double glazing 82-79%, triple glazing 71%.
The larger the glass surfaces, the lower the permeability of the film can be without the room becoming too dark. Depending on the use of the building, the light transmittance can be selected appropriately. You will want to keep an office brighter than, for example, a hotel lobby.

In the guidelines on room temperature (ASR A 3.5), the workplace regulations, for example, stipulate temperatures of 20° to 26° for offices. If a room is colder, you can simply wear one more sweater. Appropriate heat protection measures significantly increase well-being in summer and thus also productivity in the workplace.
